large, diverse and long held antique quilt
collection. We're moving to Mexico and they all have to go! So,
make an addition to
your "favorite seller" list and have a look! Most of the 35+
quilts are antique and the collection ranges
from pristine 19th Century Amish to a few pleasingly graphic art
quilts. The collection was carefully pieced together over a long
period of time and they all will find new homes. All will start with low opening bids
and there will be no reserves.

This is an Exceptional quilt and would call it museum quality if the blue fabric weren't faded. Have a look at the pictures of this grand appliqué! It's 89 inches by 79 inches and pretty much totally covered with flower pot, flower and vine appliqué. All hand quilted and hand pieced with a very high stitch count of 9 to 10 per inch. The blue fabric has a tie-dyed look to it and has not deteriorated, so it makes an unusual effect. There are numerous tiny brown rust type spots, so it could use a cleaning. The only odor it has is a light moth ball smell.
