VERY SPECIAL LARGE DIAMOND OLD PENNY RUG

The Very Best Penny Rug we've ever owned!
Was recently found in Utah, but, have no idea where it's was stored.  Near Pristine condition; for sure has never seen the floor...except for our pictures... and maybe not even a table top.  A good Large size, 66 inches long and 42 inches tall.  Back is a heavy off-white canvas-like striped feedsack material...which is also the "white" that shows in the top.  Please have a look at the pictures below.
Material is hard to describe...some wools and some boucles... some are lightly sculpted and all 500+ pieces are set in a wonderful whimsical pattern with teardrop border.  Each piece is a traditional stack of three fabrics.  Colors are soft and range from muted lavender to blue-green, reds and soft pink.  Will date to first quarter of 20th century.
