Log cabin quilts are always
our favorites and this one is unusual, in that the fabrics used were of
such a wonderful and fine quality. Hand pieced, hand quilted, thin
and elegantly simple. Only the border is applied by machine.
And, please note the unusual light-dark edge around the quilt.
Size is 80" x 69 1/2" and has 8 stitches per inch.
Some age spotting on the back
and one on the front is lost in the fabrics and is not obvious.
This is truly a lovely quilt.
